Z20 Soarer Forged Carbon Fibre Shifter Surround
Designed as a direct replacement for the factory shifter surround, this piece was developed around a 2JZ-swapped Z20 Soarer running a W58 transmission. The geometry closely follows the original part to retain OEM fitment, with the upper HVAC cross bar removed to allow for production. This does not affect function as it remains hidden behind the HVAC panel once installed.
Manufactured using compression moulded forged carbon fibre formed from chopped tow, the structure is dense with a natural, non-repetitive surface pattern. Finished in a gloss resin, the part carries a controlled OEM+ appearance with subtle variation across each piece.
All factory mounting points, tabs and clip locations are retained, allowing installation in the same manner as the original trim. The rear face is left as raw composite and is designed to be used with new clips where required. An Alcantara gaiter complements the surround and completes the assembly.
