This dataset contains surface geometry of the full centre console panel from a Mazda RX-7 FC3S. The part was scanned as a standalone component removed from the vehicle and is intended as a reference model for interior development and modification work.

Dataset overview

The dataset is supplied as a single STL file representing the complete centre console panel.

All non-essential components have been removed, with only the cigarette lighter backing retained. This allows clear access to the core geometry of the panel for measurement, modelling and design work.

The model is aligned to the XYZ axis, allowing immediate use in CAD environments.

Some areas on the rear side of the panel contain incomplete data due to the nature of the original part. OEM rubber sections and tight tolerances in smaller holes limit scan visibility, and a small number of areas around the ash tray support structure are not fully captured. Certain mounting holes may also show reduced detail.

These areas are not critical for typical use cases and do not affect the dataset when used as reference geometry.
