These components are captured as they were fitted to the vehicle and should not be interpreted as original Honda geometry.

Note for this vehicle: The source FN2 has previously been involved in a minor front-end impact and subsequently repaired. As a result, there are some small differences in panel alignment around the front of the vehicle, most notably around the bonnet and driver's side headlight.

These differences are minor and do not prevent the dataset from being used for its intended design, modelling and reference applications. They are simply worth considering when referencing very precise panel gaps or relationships between individual front-end components.


Mesh Condition

The mesh has been post-processed to remove unwanted surrounding data whilst retaining the original captured surface geometry.

There are a small number of areas where scan coverage is naturally reduced. These include the inner areas of the wing mirrors, small sections of glass behind the HEKO wind deflectors and portions of the mesh grilles. The roof may also display some minor surface noise. These areas are limited and do not affect the dataset's typical use as reference geometry.

For this dataset, thin scanning tape was used across selected areas of the vehicle to improve surface tracking during capture. The tape introduces only a minimal additional surface thickness relative to the overall dimensional resolution of the dataset and does not meaningfully affect its intended use as reference geometry.

This method reduces the preparation and post-processing time involved in capturing difficult surfaces, allowing the dataset to be offered at a lower cost whilst retaining useful dimensional data.

As with any 3D scan, components developed from the dataset should not be expected to be immediately production-ready solely from the captured geometry.
